À propos
Join Cory Cliffe and friends for an immersive video series hosted by the Campbell River Art Gallery. Cliffe, a member of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation and a Coastal Guardian Watchman, has been instrumental in the Campbell River Estuary Restoration Project. Look forward to intimate GoPro guided tours led by Cliffe, a consummate storyteller. Cliffe will share traditional knowledge on Indigenous plant species, archaeological aspects of the site, and insight into the connections between West Coast First Nations spiritual culture and environmental stewardship. Using a seven-generations approach, Cliffe and the Guardians conduct restoration with future generations in mind.

Organisateur
Campbell River Art Gallery
The Campbell River Art Gallery acknowledges that it is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Ligwiłda’xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
The Campbell River Art Gallery exhibits the work of professional visual and media artists from across Canada in our Main Gallery and Satellite Gallery. Our specific focus is on supporting artistic projects from under-represented positions within contemporary art practice.
The Gallery’s commitment to education is enacted through our public programming and outreach activities. We offer fun and engaging programming to connect viewers with our exhibitions and the culture of our diverse communities. We have adapted our outreach activities with safety in mind to reflect today's environment. Visit our website for program details.
