Bill Milward

A Technical Illustrator by profession, Bill spent many years working on technical manuals in the corporate world where his work was nationally recognized. Continuing in his profession he eventually began work as a freelance technical artist encountering many diverse situations and challenges. He's met a lot of wonderful people and enjoys the feeling of satisfaction seeing the transformation that takes place in people when they are painted.

Bodyart and photography soon became his main focus.

"It's like a mask they wear, becoming someone else for a few hours. Shy people often become uninhibited wearing their new painted designs....there's almost a strut in their walk. I've seen victims of breast cancer shed tears of joy after being painted, so proud of themselves for being courageous and proudly overcoming their fears regarding body image.....what could be more satisfying".
