Directions: The Historic Stewart Farmhouse is located within Elgin Heritage Park and adjacent to Ward's Marina, directly off of Crescent Road. The site is not easily accessible by transit. There is a small parking lot at the farm and a large overflow lot 400m West down Crescent Road. It is a 5 minute walk to the farm through th nature trail from the overflow lot.

Explore the picturesque Historic Stewart Farm with an experienced guide to lead you through the site. Step into the past as you head inside the farmhouse built in 1894. Then your guide will take you outside to look at the outbuildings and try the old fashioned water pump.
Tours are being offered every Wednesday to Sunday at 1:00pm and 3:00pm throughout the entire run of the Culture Days celebration: Friday, September 24 - Sunday, October 24. Please register via the link below.
Covid policies: We are operating at reduced capacity to facilitate social distancing, tour capacity is max 12 participants. Masks are mandatory while indoors, it is recommended to get vaccinated and to follow the BC health guidelines. Wash/sanitize hands often and stay home when you have symptoms or are sick.

Historic Stewart Farm
The Historic Stewart Farm is a historic site that features the Stewart Farmhouse built in 1894. In the middle of Elgin Heritage Park and on the bank of the Nicomekl River it is a picturesque location where you can step into the past. The site has 9 heritage buildings that help tell the story of Surrey at the turn of the century.
Surrey is situated on the unceded and ancestral lands of the Salish peoples, including the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) Nations.
