À propos
We at School District (SD) 75 are thrilled to invite the Mission community to the Stave Falls homecoming event as we celebrate the reopening and ‘reawakening’ of the school. The school has been dormant for 10 years—prior to that it was a vibrant place of learning designed to inspire. Thank you to the Stave Falls Community Association and SD75 for hearing the call of the forest and falls! Come and tour and reminisce with former students, teachers, and parents, and meet new students, teachers, and parents. Mission Community Archivist, Val Billesberger, has gathered an incredible treasure of information and will be showcasing this storied past!

Stave Falls Elementary School
The first school in Stave Falls opened 110 years ago this year. It was a one-room school with 14 students. As population increased in the area other schools were subsequently built to meet the demand, including Stave Falls, Stave Gardens, and Bell Road. In 1994, the present day school opened, however, it was closed in 2008 along with two others. Through the combined efforts of the Stave Falls Community Association and the Mission School District, the school was reopened on September 3rd as a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school with an outdoor, forestry and cultural program of choice focus.
