Creative Conversations Pen Pals Project

See below for scheduled optional sessions, participants are encouraged to create and share works throughout the month at their own pace.

Adult participation required, suggested for Family Groups with kids ages 6+

Expect to spend approximately 10 hours participating across 3 weeks.

Participants supply their own materials

Virtual check-ins on zoom. Participants will need to supply an email address to participate and their own digital device and internet access. The Artist will match creative pen pals and exchange emails.

Designed to foster long-lasting creative connections for all types of individuals with all creative skill levels. Connect with others in a creative conversation using photography, animation, crafting, creative writing, painting, music, video or even poetry. Join alone or as a pair. We connect you creatively with another person or pair and you create back and forth for two weeks. Join in optional weekly zoom sessions to share your progress. In week three, your creative pieces will be featured in an online exhibit and you can take part in an Artist Talk.

Sept. 24, 5:30 p.m. - FB LIVE on FB Page Be Whimsy Art Loft - Pen Pal Match-ups

Sept. 24, 6-7:30 p.m. or Sept. 25, 1-3 p.m.- Zoom session - Questions and Info.

Oct. 1 and Oct. 8, 1-3 or 6-7 p.m. - zoom check ins

Oct. 17, 6-8 pm Artist Talk and On-line Exhibit Opening presented at www.bewhisiartloft.ca

Each year selected Culture Days activities are funded through the St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP).
