À propos

Spend the day creating at Mackie Lake House! Bring your camera, sketchbook, or paints and find inspiration in the heritage architecture, vibrant gardens, original artworks, and historical artifacts. Whether you're an experienced artist or just exploring your creativity, everyone is welcome. Help us grow our archives by sharing a copy of what you create during your visit. We'll add it to our collection so it can live as part of Mackie Lake House history forever.

Mackie Lake House's Manager and Curator, as well as Archivist, will be on-site for the day! "Ask an Archivist" and gain some insight into how Mackie Lake House manages its archive collection.

*Please note: some painting materials may be restricted when in the house. Cameras and sketchpads are welcome indoors!

Organisateur

Mackie Lake House

The Mackie Lake House Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the historic Mackie Lake House, a beautiful heritage property located in Coldstream, B.C., Canada.

The Mackies were the last family to own and live in the house. In 1993, Patrick Mackie (or Paddy, as he was known), established the Mackie Lake House Foundation, and with his passing in 1999, he gifted the property to the Foundation for the benefit of the community.

Today, the Foundation continues Paddy’s vision of preserving the house for the education and enjoyment of the public, ensuring that Mackie Lake House will continue to inspire and enrich generations to come.
