À propos

Talking Circle at Berwick Gardens September 30th Truth and Reconciliation Day 1:00-2:30

Sitting in a circle, with others, in a serene garden, at Berwick will provide an opportunity to engage in conversation. The talking circle is a time tested way Indigenous peoples take the time to have a respectful conversation on climate change, that includes all voices. This is especially important in these polarized times. *RSVP limited seating

Organisateur

Diane Moran

Diane Moran is a retired Recreation Leader II and Visual Artist residing in Qualicum Beach BC. She has been active in community arts for over 30 years. For this "Talking Circle" Diane has invited Michael Blackstock of Blue Ecology and has partnered with Berwick to host this event in their lovely gardens. We hope this to be a meaningful way to inspire and engage our community in conversation and build relationships. My vision and hope is to create and connect others through art and offer meaningful engagement with public awareness projects. Sometimes focused on humanitarian efforts, environmental awareness, conservation and mental health advocacy. *RSVP for this event limited seating
