À propos
The City of Burlington public art program is launching a temporary art project, as part of Culture Days. Running from Sept. 20 to Oct. 13, Culture Days offers three weeks of arts and culture experiences indoors, outdoors and online.
The public art program is commissioning 20 artists and writers to create temporary public art signs that will be installed along the Beachway multi-use path. This outdoor exhibition will provide trail users with an accessible way to enjoy art and learn more about the amazing creators in the Burlington community. Each artwork will be accompanied with a profile of the artist.
Writers and artists for the 2025 program include: Aaliyah Ahmed, Steve Atkinson, Tahira Badre, Caitlyn Marie Cornect, Denise Davy, Andrew Dunlop, Hope Flynn, Prateek Godiyal, Zana Kozomora, Anitha Krishnan, Zoe Lefort, Kim McDonough, Sylvia McNicoll & Jennifer Filipowicz, Jennifer Mook-Sang & Yevgeniya Yussupova, Jessie Neveceral, Kathleen O’Keefe, Cathy Roberts, Joanna Sparrow, Kate Starr and Jamie Vardy.
