À propos

You're invited to participate in a community art project led by BC-based visual artist Robi Smith. Anyone from any community in Canada can join in.

To participate, go for a walk along a waterway in your local community and look closely for a small object that doesn’t belong in the natural environment. Safely collect the object and note down the location and anything interesting about the object or site. Imagine the origin of the object and how it came to be at this particular location.

Mail the object and your observations to the artist at the address below or take a photo of the object and send it to [email protected]:

Over the coming months, Robi will be creating an art installation from the contributions, to be shared at the International Marine Conservation Congress in February 2023.

For more details on the project and how to participate, see http://robismith.indiemade.com. You can also follow the project on Instagram @inland_unnatural_history.
