Romero Britto is a self-taught artist. He paints cats, fish, and teddy bears that are always smiling. He wants his art to bring joy to everyone. He uses the same simple patterns in all of his paintings and sculptures: circles, dots and dashes, stripes, and his name (Britto). Sometimes he adds hearts and flowers.
