À propos
In 1989, an archaeological assessment of Lions Valley Park was conducted to learn more about the people formerly living in Proudfoot’s Hollow during the nineteenth century. The artifacts found during the dig are currently part of the Halton Region Heritage Services artifact collection.
Children and families at The Crossing are invited to join Duran Place for Kids and experience what happens during an archaeological excavation at our “dig-box” activity station. Discover what archaeologists found and discovered about the Proudfoot’s Hollow community and try your hand at excavating an artifact.
