About Amanda Tosoff:
Amanda Tosoff is a B.C-raised Toronto-based pianist, composer, and educator with five albums to her credit. She has performed with such internationally recognized artists as Emilie-Claire Barlow, Ingrid Jensen and Christine Jensen, Phil Dwyer, and many more. Amanda has also opened for jazz luminaries Bobby Hutcherson, Renee Rosnes, Oliver Jones, and renowned Brazilian singer Luciana Souza; and she has received such awards as the Montréal Jazz Festival Grand Prix de Jazz, and the 2016 Toronto Arts Foundation Emerging Jazz Artist Award.
This fall, Amanda will release a new recording, Earth Voices, which features special guest vocalists Emilie-Claire Barlow, Laila Biali, Lydia Persaud, Michelle Willis, Felicity Williams, Alex Samaras, and Robin Dann, as well as instrumentalists Kelly Jefferson, Allison Au, and Alex Goodman, Jon Maharaj and Morgan Childs
