Storytelling can seem to be a daunting task; the blank white page appears to stretch endlessly before you, but it can be fun and creative with the right tools. This workshop will use story cubes and other literary devices to break through writer's block and get your creativity flowing. From micro-fictions to short stories or novels, this workshop will provide you with a creative boost of confidence and inspiration to get you writing.

Travis J. Croken, The Calm Scribe

Travis J. Croken, The Calm Scribe, is an Ottawa based storyteller, writer, and author. He has published two children's books, has two short stories optioned for films around the world, and is currently finishing his first novel, "Project Persyphious," and book of short stories, "All That is Left Behind." He is an international mentor for writers with Mentorly, a community developer, and has a writing stream on Twitch, where he discusses writing themes, creates the #StoryCubeFridays micro-fictions, and is guiding the creation of a sci-fi short story.
