A 90-minute Figure Drawing Workshop with UFV Associate Professor Shel Stefan. Folks ages 16 years old to 106 years old are welcome to come join in this hands-on drawing workshop where we will utilize a live figure model draped in street clothes to learn some basic techniques in figure drawing. Shel will lead folks of all abilities (beginners welcome!) in a set of gesture studies and figure drawing exercises using vine charcoal. Shel will also do some demonstrations to demystify basic materials and build folks' confidence in drawing from a live human model. The hope is to create inspiration, joy, and a good experience in life drawing for attendees.
