I am an independent artist working from my home-studio in Steveston, BC. My journey in art started in yr. 2009, the year I also completed my first professional piece in. Greatly influenced by Carl Jung’s theory of Collective Unconsciousness and the Cobra, a European avant-garde movement that was active from 1948 to 1951, I have since longed to be someone uncommon, someone truly distinctive. Have spent the last 6 years being a full-time mom to our son, Kabir, who studies in Homma Elementary School, and currently establishing myself in Canada, the beautiful country we moved in 10 years back. I am also a professional textile designer. My home-studio is where I, both, make my art from, and currently designing my first collection of carpets.
