À propos

Pixels inPrint is a small exhibition hosted by The inPrint Collective celebrating the joyfulness of printmaking with Lego-blocks and play-bricks!

inPrint invited artists of all ages to have some fun creating images with this unique process, and is hosting a summer-long exhibition of the works at their studio. We invite the community to join us in the closing celebration in September to view these prints as well as help us make a community mural using everyone's favourite building blocks!

The celebration will be drop-in style, family-friendly, and free to attend!

Printmaking is an umbrella term for a variety of ways to print multiple images using ink, from prepared blocks or stencils. Lego-blocks, or play bricks in general, are a great and accessible way to make fun, pixel-style images - and you get to make more than one!

You can visit the exhibition during its run from July 28 to September 27 by appointment by emailing [email protected].

The inPrint Collective

The inPrint Collective is a Toronto-based group of printmakers who love print and want to share it with the world. We came together in 2008 (because printmakers love company) to support each other and promote printmaking in our communities.

Since then, we have been inking our plates, rolling up our stones, running down our squeegees, and carving out our ideas. When we're not in the studio, we're putting on artist talks, group exhibitions and workshops. We foster the storytelling potential of printmaking through residencies and community events.

inPrint has organized exhibitions and community programs across the GTA and participated in past Culture Day events (2010 - 2018), as well Nuit Blanche (2011) and Contact Festival (2022). We are excited to return to Culture Days with this event!
