Bert Weir Days - FAMILY ARTS FEST is a three day festival that explores the interface between music and art.
Inspired by the iconic artist Bert Weir, who created art to music throughout his entire career. Based on northern landscapes and music improvised and composed, his paintings portray a musical line that haunts the soul. Bert especially appreciated music that echoed his deep and passionate connection with nature.

Whispering River Music
Whispering River Music is an Ontario Not-for-Profit and a Federally Registered Canadian Charity, previously known as Ardeleana Chamber Music Society. The organization has supported Canadian music for over 35 years by providing educational arts programs and concerts for children, youth and adults, and commissioning and recording Canadian composers.
In 2014, Whispering River Music (WRM) began in Parry Sound, to kindle the spirit of the creative musical community in this area. WRM serves the whole community regardless of a person’s skill-level, financial availability, or experience. WRM believes that music fosters life-long learning, true friendships, real communities, and good mental health through local partnership and support.
