Watch the Dolyna Ukrainian Cultural Society demonstrate dances in costumes from various regions of Ukraine, including styles, steps, variations, and the history associated with them. In between dance demos, you will learn about 'writing pysanky' (Ukrainian Easter eggs).

There is no pre-registration required for the event; however, due to covid-19 safety measures, we recommend arriving early to get your spot.

Dolyna Ukrainian Cultural Society

Dolyna Ukrainian Cultural Society is a non profit organization that has been bringing Ukrainian crafts, culture, and dancing to the Okanagan Valley for 12 years. We have members aged 4-adult and strive to teach authentic regional styles of Ukrainian dance to our students, as well as teach traditional cultural crafts, including weaving, cooking, baking, and leatherwork.
