In an innovative collaboration between the worlds of electronic music and rap, this event fosters creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. "Bridging Beats" will bring together electronic musicians and rappers from the local Regina area to network, experiment, and co-create within the inspiring environment of Regina Public Library.

This unique event will blend the distinct styles of electronic music production and rap lyricism, offering a platform for artists to explore new sounds and push creative boundaries in a social space but free from the expectations of a live audience.

Regina Public Library (RPL) is an urban library system committed to providing community services, spaces, and technologies to inspire discovery, learning, and connection. We provide all people with the opportunity to advance themselves through literacy, lifelong learning, social engagement, and cultural enrichment.

Our Digital Media Studio has specialized hardware, equipment, and software that let you explore, collaborate, and learn about digital media.

Take professional quality photos, film with our green screen, jam with your band, record an audition track, learn to animate, and more. The opportunities for creating your own creative masterpieces are only limited by your imagination.

Customers using the Digital Media Studio should bring their own storage devices or create personal cloud storage accounts to save their work. We can provide external storage devices for customers to check out or purchase and use if their personal storage devices have been forgotten or are at capacity. However, availability is not guaranteed.
