This inclusive program aims to promote equal opportunities for individuals of all abilities to engage in play and recreational activities. Designed with a strong focus on accessibility, the program seeks to create a nurturing and supportive environment where persons with diverse disabilities can participate alongside their peers, fostering social integration and mutual understanding.

Through a wide range of adaptive games, sports, and recreational activities, we aim to enhance their physical, emotional, and cognitive development, while also encouraging teamwork, communication, and self-confidence.

and feel included. We bring accessible facilities to life with sports, fitness for people

of all ages and abilities.

With a population of more than 340,000 residents, Vaughan is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada, home to more than 217 ethnic or cultural origins with 113 different languages spoken. It is a vibrant, diverse, inclusive and equity-based community that recognizes and celebrates arts, culture and heritage.

We recognize that Vaughan is situated in the Territory and Treaty 13 lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and the Haudenosaunee. The City of Vaughan is currently home to many First Nations, Métis and Inuit people today. As representatives of the people of the City of Vaughan, we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and live in this territory.
