Keeping in mind the theme "Unexpected Intersections" of Culture Days 2020 I have created this video using a spoken-word piece called "Empty" written by me in March 2020. I layered it, spoken word with my voice-over narration and pictures taken at Chinguacousy Park, Brampton by my young talented son Mushahid.
This deeply moving piece is dedicated to women. Intentionally the despondent yet willed imagery is juxtaposed against a calm and lush bright day to focus on the resilience of a women's spirit.
