À propos
Shake up your spray paint cans, drum up the excitement and see aerosol colours burst across wooden panels with stunning line work and take shape for our Buddy Bench installation, led by international street artist Diogo Snow.
The purpose of the Buddy Bench is more than just an aesthetically upbeat work of functional art, its purpose is for kids to not feel alone. The Buddy Bench is an invitation to hangout and collaborate with your buddies.
*just don't invite your buddy to sit down until the paint is dry
About the artist:
Diogo Neves also known by his artist name D-Snow, was born and raised in São Paulo Brazil and currently resides in Toronto, Canada. The artist started his career early as a teen in Brazil with graffiti street art that grew into a passion. His art is a mix of urban with a twist of modern. Using a variety of materials such as spray paints, acrylics, diamond dust, prints and resin make his paintings unique and impactful. He has further expanded his portfolio to now include sculptures, cars, murals, boats and so much more.

6IX Academy
The 6IX Academy is an experiential program, connecting students with industry professionals, to produce fashion-based capsule collections for the socially conscious change-maker. Community-based + cross-curricular initiatives get students thinking out of the classroom + doing within the community.
The 6IX Academy’s pursuit for real-world experiences, while amplifying student voice and creating platforms for social change is at the HeART of the creation and collaboration process. Students are directly invested in the branding, marketing, design and business strategies within the program. Grant funding from the Ministry of Education Business Specialist Majors (SHSM) + CCEL(Community Entrepreneurship Learning) assists with project activations. Through the arts + activism(ARTivism), students develop fashion movements for social good, spearhead fundraising initiatives with organizations and build upon leadership positions within the school community and beyond.
