Indigenous Friendship Centre Sault Ste. Marie will explain the meaning of women's Ribbon Skirts and why it's important for their culture, women will present Ribbon Skirts followed by a Women Song and Drumming. Visitors will learn about the significance of the Ribbon Skirts, enjoy beautiful skirts, song and drumming.

Indigenous Friendship Centre’s objectives are: to provide a medium for the meeting of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and the development of mutual understanding through common activities. To stimulate and assist Indigenous self-expression and the development of Indigenous leadership; and, to assist and encourage study of Urban Indigenous needs as well as the planning of services with Indigenous people in both public private agencies.
