Also featured in this screening are two short films, Rougarou, a story about the spirit of a traditional Métis shapeshifter who transforms people's lives. And Batoche…One More Time, a video portrait of contemporary Métis culture profiling some of the artists who create it. Her work reminds us of a vital part of our history and is a powerful statement that her voice and vision remain as strong and relevant today, as it will for the future.
