Our Mandate & Vision:

Our mission is to provide a shared space equipped with tools and resources that empower members to explore and create across various disciplines. We're committed to nurturing curiosity, tinkering, and DIY projects for anyone with a love for electronics, art, painting, 3D-printing, CNC wood carving, movies, DJ-ing, music, sound, lighting, security, computing, and engineering.

Year-Round Activities:

Throughout the year, we host a variety of events and activities that directly relate to this Nuit Blanche event:

Weekly Open Houses - Every Tuesday at 6pm, we open our doors to the public for community engagement

Anti-Social First Fridays - Monthly events celebrating arts, music, and community engagement with live performances and interactive activities

Hax Festival - Our annual weekend-long celebration bringing together technologists, musicians, DJs, gamers, crafters, and artists

Workshops & Collaborative Projects - Regular sessions covering topics from Bitcoin hardware wallets to amateur radio

Music Jam Sessions - Community music-making events that showcase our commitment to live performance

Art & Technology Integration - Ongoing projects that blend traditional art forms with modern technology

Connection to This Event:

This Nuit Blanche event is a natural extension of our year-round activities, embodying our commitment to blending technology, art, and community engagement. The event features the same interdisciplinary approach we foster daily - combining spray paint art, electronic music, gaming stations, and maker activities in one cohesive experience that reflects our hackerspace culture of creativity and collaboration.
