À propos

Andy Flanagan grew up in a rural maritime community next to the sea. As a child his playground was the beach and the Ocean. The salt in his past is obvious in much of his writings. He wrote a lifetime of short stories and a number of manuscripts. His first e-published work was How I Learned to Read, followed by the nonfiction book, The Endless Battle. The latter was shortlisted for the 2018 Atlantic Book Awards Democracy 250 for historical writing. He has had numerous short stories published in local and national newsprint as well as on the Canadian Broadcasting website.

Andy is a long-time member and past director of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick. He is an executive member of a regional environmental association, and is involved in a number of other local and national organizations.
