Arts 4 People Movement

Arts4People Movement is a community organization, which aims in providing cultural awareness using Community Arts, Arts Education and Community Engagement. What drives us, our main engine – our love for arts and the potential that arts has in building communities together. With every event we do, our team, using diverse opportunities is preserving the Romanian culture on Canadian soil. Our board members have had diverse life experiences and some extensive education in arts and culture. Some were born and raised under a totalitarian regime in Eastern Europe – Romania, others were raised in a

country full of liberty and opportunities offered by a capitalist country, more specifically, Canada. We have come together, as a group, with different educational and professional experiences. Our team is comprised of people who put ideas into action, and together we share the same belief, keeping alive the

arts and cultural entity and to expand the program offered by the Canadian Government. This is an opportunity we have to build on. Focusing on the educational sector, we started promoting Romanian culture and traditions. We have partnered with other not-for-profit organizations and have participated in

common theme projects. We consider ourselves privileged to have the possibility of influencing, in a positive manner, children as well parents in providing cultural programs where each person uses their gifts and talents and share them with the large community. “Through ARTS you can Talk to the World
