À propos

The impressive Courthouse Green has its origin in the traditions of the United Empire Loyalist founders of Brockville, who came from communities with large courthouse greens capable of accommodating town meetings. Today the Green continues to serve that purpose as the site for many city celebrations.

Take a camera, cell phone, pencil & pad or paints and canvas and find a comfortable spot on the green. Now comes the difficult part. Turn 360 degrees and choose your subject, or first subject. The Court House? The Green itself? First Presbyterian Church? First Baptist Church? Wall Street United? The view down Court House Avenue? Or something you alone discern? Honestly a proverbial embarrassment of riches.
