Rick Worthington will demonstrate plein air painting in oils, covering techniques for capturing quick sketches from life and explaining the basics of the medium. Although plein air painting can seem intimidating, Rick shows how it can become incredibly addictive and fundamentally instructive for an artist’s practice.

The Elora Fergus Studio Tour has been operating for 38 years as a free, annual event to celebrate the abundance of exceptional artists living and working in Centre Wellington. Each artist is juried in by an esteemed panel of experienced artists, and we allow a maximum of 40 participants. We advertise our tour in major cities within a 2 hour radius of Centre Wellington.
