Join illustrator Ning Yang for a croquis workshop at the Oakville Museum, where you will have the opportunity to learn how to use illustrative techniques and traditional drawing materials to create expressive portraits and figures!

Ning Yang

Illustrator and designer Ning Yang is behind the new mural debuting in River Oaks Community Centre during this year’s Ontario Culture Days Festival.

With a cultivated interest in culture, storytelling, and image-making, Ning is a participant of the CreateSpace Public Art Residency that is in partnership with the Town of Oakville this year. Ning uses her array of disciplines to work with clients in editorial illustration and visual identities design, weaving a usage of colour and textural collages in both sides of her practice.

She will introduce elements of her own digital illustration practice to her workshops.
