This documentary, "Brother Rick", follows 62-year-old Sit-a-Luk Raymond Jones Peter, aka Brother Rick, who is a well-known member, knowledge keeper, dancer, and musician of Quw’utsun Cowichan First Nation. He currently resides in his traditional Coast Salish territory in Scia’new Beecher Bay First Nation, which is commonly known as East Sooke, BC.
In this film, we’re going to find out what motivates him to be involved with the schools and what impact his teachings are having not only on the students and teachers, but also on their parents, grandparents and school trustees.
