The Interlake Artist Collective 16×20 Art Show & Sale is an annual celebration of creativity, community, and accessibility in art. Held at the St. Andrews Community Club in St. Andrews, Manitoba, it brings together a diverse group of artists and art lovers for a truly unique experience.

At the heart of the show is a simple but striking concept: every piece is the same size and the same price. All artworks measure 16″×20″ (with a few 12″×16″ variations) and are offered at one set price. This “One Size, One Price, One Day” format creates an even playing field for artists and makes collecting original art approachable for buyers. No need to compare price tags or worry about how a piece will fit—your choice comes down to what speaks to you.

The show features 18–19 artists from across the Interlake and beyond, offering over 150 original works. Styles range from bold contemporary abstracts to serene landscapes, from intricate realism to playful, experimental creations. It’s an opportunity to experience the depth and variety of local artistic talent in one place.

But the 16×20 is more than an art display—it’s an interactive experience. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy live painting demonstrations, artist talks, and mini workshops. These sessions invite you to connect directly with artists, learn about their process, and even try creating something yourself. It’s a rare chance to step into the creative process, not just view the finished result.

The event also offers a VIP opening night the evening before the public show. This ticketed experience includes early access to the artwork, light refreshments, and a short guided painting session with one of the Collective’s artists. For collectors and art enthusiasts, it’s the perfect opportunity to secure a favourite piece before the main event.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed, with free admission for the main day. Whether you’re a seasoned collector, a first-time buyer, or simply curious, the 16×20 provides a no-pressure environment to browse, ask questions, and connect with the local creative community.

The 2025 edition marks the 3rd Annual 16×20 Art Show & Sale and will take place October 3 & 4, 2025 at the St. Andrews Community Club.
