Celebrate music with mezzo-soprano Katarzyna Sadej and pianist Nadia Boucher in adorable Navan, with its historic main street and beautiful fall foliage in October! Navan-Vars United Church hosts this concert in its beautiful main hall!
The singer and pianist will offer a recital of opera favorites, classical art songs and classic American songbook numbers - something for everyone to enjoy and something for everyone to discover!
International mezzo-soprano Katarzyna Sadej performs regularly around the world in concerts, opera, recital and for recordings, at a wide variety of world-renowned venues. She regularly collaborates with pianist Nadia Boucher, who has collaborated with several renowned Canadian singers in concert, and is a professor of lyric diction at the University of Ottawa Department of Music. Both performers completed their alma mater music degrees at the University of Ottawa.

Navan-Vars United Church sits in the heart of Navan, an adorable small town next to Ottawa, which offers stunning fall foliage and a taste of country living. The church has a beautiful main hall with a lovely acoustic, perfectly suited for the concert you will experience on October 8th!
Canadian Mezzo-Soprano Katarzyna Sadej was born in Wrocław, Poland. Her international, eclectic career spans concert, opera, chamber music, oratorio, film, recital and voice over performance. Katarzyna has also performed numerous world premieres and has had over a dozen new works composed especially for her. Besides singing in many world renowned concert halls throughout her career, she is also a supporter of wildlife, conservation and the environment.
Canadian pianist Nadia Boucher is a professor of lyric diction, vocal coach and collaborative pianist. She enjoys a very active and diverse musical career. She holds a Master of Music Degree in Collaborative Piano from the Cleveland Institute of Music, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Ottawa, and an ARCT Performer’s Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
