Celebrate the world without leaving downtown! On Saturday, September 20, the City of Swift Current, along with a number of community partners, invites you to CultureFest—a free, family-friendly celebration of cultural diversity.
From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Market Square will come alive with music, dance, art, food, and hands-on activities for all ages. Enjoy the energy of Tinikling performers from the Philippines, join in a lively Bollywood dance, and feel the pulse of African drummers.
Discover artistry and tradition through henna tattoos, watch history in action with a blacksmith demonstration, and be entertained by engaging poetry recitations. Create your own masterpiece at the print making station, or let your imagination take flight at the kite making workshop. Kids will also love the T-shirt colouring station, where they can decorate wearable art with cultural designs.
Food lovers will delight in Culinary Delights, featuring dishes from around the globe—your chance to sample flavors from near and far.
