The BRANTFORD STATION NEIGHBOURHOOD ASSOCIATION with community partners presents our first Culture Days event called: A WORLD OF DANCE

Join us on Sunday September 28 from 1 pm to 5 pm at

DOUG SNOOKS EAGLE PLACE COMMUNITY CENTRE, lower level in the gym

333 Erie Avenue

Dance uses rhythmic movements often set to music as a powerful way to communicate thoughts, feelings, stories and, specific to our event, cultural narratives. Dance enhances our social experiences and gives us an opportunity to be curious, to heighten what we know and to encourage learning new things.

Each dance style has its own unique movement vocabulary and cultural association. Come and celebrate with us the vibrant cultural fabric of the diverse community within Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations on the Grand River.

Our FREE event will highlight both professional and community dancers who will share their personal experiences with us through storytelling and movement.

We will also be gathering together artisans who complement our dancers as a means to connect each culture with other aspects of artistry. Each artisan will have their own payment methods.

There will be a designated intermission to give you time wander about meeting and chatting with each other and the artisans while enjoying a free snack and/or refreshment.
