Family Resource Centre

The Family Resource Centre (FRC) is a non-profit organization that has offered affordable mental health care to our community since 1993. At FRC, no one is turned away for inability to pay – we will deliver any of our services for free to meet the needs of all members of our community.

We provide one-on-one counselling for

• Individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or other mental health challenges

• Individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, or gender-based violence

• Couples

• New parents experiencing Post-Partum Depression

• Teens experiencing anxiety, depression, social anxiety, body image issues, and other challenges

• Families and parents with young children.

• Children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse

We offer trainings, support groups, and activity groups, including:

• Parenting through Emotion

• Calm Kids, for children 6 to 12

• Anger Management

• Refugee and Immigrant Women’s Group

• Man Cave, a Men’s Activity Group

• Queer Field Trip, for 2SLGBTQIA+ high school students

• Little Owl, Playful Art, and Natural Connections for Families with Young Children

• Busy Bees, an Activity Group for Seniors
