À propos

Attendees of this Art Exhibit will experience common views of the Okanagan captured in various formats: Urban Sketches completed quickly on-location in ink & watercolour, Plein Air paintings of Okanagan's beauty created outdoors in the sunshine, and interesting compositions with an Okanagan focus showing the beauty of the scenery, our favourite buildings, and especially the trees!

The Artists Linda Lovisa, and Shauna Kay (a 2024 BC Culture Days Ambassador), will be in attendance at this Opening Night Reception, and invite one and all to come and enjoy the art while getting the chance to meet and chat with the artists themselves .... ask us questions about our materials, process, and explore future opportunities to join group sketching events, and more!

Organisateur

Art Exhibit featuring the works of: Linda Lovisa, and Shauna Kay

Linda Lovisa is a professional Artist, and renown Art Instructor, who lives in West Kelowna.

Shauna Kay (SMRK Art) is an emerging Artist, the founder of the Okanagan Urban Sketchers, and a former BC Culture Days Ambassador (2024), who lives in Armstrong, BC.

Their professional relationship began in 2024 with Linda in the role of Mentor to Shauna in her role as Ambassador - and evolved into a friendship and mutual admiration of each other's unique artistic approach. This collaborative exhibit celebrates all that these Artists love about the Okanagan.
