À propos

Join us for a powerful Culture Days event celebrating the stories, contributions, and resilience of Indigenous and non-Indigenous veterans.

This interactive, family-friendly experience will include:

🔹 Hands-On Morse Code Station – Visitors send and decode secret wartime messages across the museum.

🔹 Canada’s Cree Code Talkers Exhibit & Activity – Discover the role of Cree-speaking soldiers in WW2 communications. Learn to write your name or a coded message using Cree syllabics, guided by a language educator.

🔹 Stories in Uniform – Meet veterans and family members sharing personal 10–15 minute stories in an informal, one-on-one or small group setting.

🔹 Heritage Hunt – Take part in a scavenger-style exploration highlighting lesser-known stories of courage, including artifacts connected to Indigenous service.

🔹 Drop-in Kids’ Activities – Try on corner and Guess the Artifact to inspire all ages.

The event supports Truth and Reconciliation by uplifting Indigenous voices, preserving language, and recognizing military contributions often left untold. Whether you’re here to listen, learn, or explore, Voices of Courage offers an engaging opportunity to reflect on shared histories and honour those who served.

Please note: The museum is on the lower level and currently does not have disabled access.

Admission is free. All are welcome!

Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts

Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts is Saskatoon's hidden gem.

It's our mission to collect, preserve, and share Canada’s military heritage, with a focus on the personal stories, artifacts, and experiences of veterans. Through engaging exhibits and educational programming, the museum aims to honour those who served, foster public understanding of military history, and inspire reflection on the impact of conflict. We strive to connect generations and ensure that acts of service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
