October 1st is Nigeria's Independence Day, join us in the Celebration of Nigerian Music (Naija Jamz) with the International DJ Damiger who is a Toronto based Afro-DJ.

DJ Damiger has been professionally active for 8 years, during which he has performed at multi-national organizations such as The E3, MTV, OneAfrica Fest, Starboy inc etc. and has worked with global artistes like Wizkid, Burna boy, Mr Eazi etc.

DJ Damiger currently hosts a radio show - Flight 654, which aims at connecting cultures between Toronto/North America and Africa.

I AM. I CAN. I WILL is a non-profit organization committed to working globally to empower one person at a time, one initiative at a time... So far we have

• Organized the Oakville Nigeria Culture Days 2018 - A Rich Celebration of the Nigerian Culture.

• Co-organized a #BringBackOurGirls rally in Toronto

• Worked with First Nations Children in an Attawapiskat elementary school

• Providing ongoing supplies to people who identify as homeless in the GTA

• Worked with Syrian Refugees in Hamilton and People (IDPs) displaced by the Boko Haram Terrorist group in Nigeria

• Taught Financial Literacy to youth in the GTA

• We have an ongoing sponsorship of children in IDP camps in Nigeria through elementary and high school

• Participant – Halton Equity and Diversity Roundtable

• Collaborated with the Canadian Black Chamber Of Commerce (CBCC) to ensure youth participation in The Economic Club of Canada & The Global Institute for Conscious Economics’ Conversation with Barack Obama

• Participant – Halton Regional Police Service, Diversity Engagement Table
