Marla Renee Stewart is a woman motivated by passion, her mission in life is to educate and inspire others in a variety of ways. First and foremost, she is truly dedicated to getting people in touch with their body, mind and spirit. She believes in harnessing love and accepting people for who they are and where they are at in their lives.

This event is part of our opening weekend of events for our festival ARTIVISIM: Sex + The Unheard "The art of creative resistance and the politics of the body".

Needs: Skillet, solid turner or solid spoon, small bowl, large bowl, whisk,& Stove

Spicy Toasted Sunflower Seeds

1 Cup of Sunflower Seeds, Shelled

1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

1 Tsp Cinnamon

1 Tbs Raw Sugar

Pinch of Salt

Strawberry Avocado Salad with Saffron/Raspberry Vinaigrette (Mexico)

¼ Cup Olive Oil

¼ Cup Raspberry Vinegar

1 ½ tbs Honey*

¼ tsp Hot Sauce (or 1/8 tsp sriracha…or just fresh chiles)

¼ tsp Sea Salt

¼ tsp Cinnamon

1 Cup Fresh, Quartered Strawberries

½ Cup Red Onion, Sliced

½ Avocado, Cubed

A Pinch of Saffron*

Sliced Almonds

Mixed Spring Greens

Cracked Black Pepper

Hibiscus-Infused Honey

1 Cup Honey

1 Tbs Dried Hibiscus Flowers

Cheesecloth (you can substitute a coffee filter).
