"Nature's Threads" is not only a weaving project. Join Ebru Winegard, a Turkish-Canadian mixed-media artist, graphic designer, photographer, and filmmaker for a celebration of diversity, unity, and the interconnectedness of all living beings. Alongside weaving sessions, participants will engage in discussions and activities that promote cultural exchange, environmental stewardship, and community building. "Nature's Threads" invites all ages and backgrounds to come together and participate in the ancient art of weaving, drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of cultures and the beauty of our local environment.
Participants will receive a weaving tutorial and create their own work of art during a fun and engaging interactive event. Drop in solo, with family, or with a group! Stay for an hour or three, receiving hands-on instruction and feedback from an acclaimed artist. Option to be included on her social media if you want to share your experience!
