The Vermilion Culture Fest will be held on September 25th and 26th at the Vermilion Curling Rink. Multicultural Saturday will offer live performances throughout the day including Chinese, Ukrainian, Bhangra, and other dance groups (TBA), Indigenous drummers, singers and dancers, and local singers. Vermilion and Lakeland Region food vendors will offer a wide array of multicultural food options. And multicultural art will be on display along with culturally educational materials. Support and learn about our local businesses and regional multicultural entrepreneurs while you enjoy a day of world spanning entertainment and delicious cultural recipes. Vermilion Culture Festival partners, supporters, and sponsors include Alberta Culture and Status of Women, Lakeland College, Vermilion CLASS, Vermilion Newcomer Committee, Lloydminster Local Immigration Partnership and They Build Bridges.

We are a collective of residents of Vermilion, Lloydminster and the surrounding region who wish to bring light to the racial prejudice that exists here and around the world. We support peaceful and pragmatic reform of all institutions that discriminate based on race, ethnicity and culture.
