Otherwise Studios will be popping up in Market Square, Guelph Ontario to host an upcycled jewelry workshop where people walking by can stop, make a quick craft in a guided, drop-in basis workshop, and walk away with a one-of-a-kind creation for free. A range of materials will be available such as steel, copper, wire, bottle caps, old fabric, and more! Participants will learn a variety of skills including how to design, create, and assemble earrings and pins, as well as techniques to manipulate the materials given to achieve their desired design.
This pop-up workshop is creative, hands-on and promotes well-being and sustainability for both self, community, and the environment.
All materials and guidance will be provided, but we promote bringing your own junky treasures to upcycle into something wearable!
