Digital artist Linda Laforge will be creating live art of YOU in ACTION at Parkview Centre.

This Live Event Art will capture the essence of the fun we have at Parkview Centre in real-time. Linda offers an interactive experience as she captivates attendees and the spirit of our activities, forever remembered in her artwork. You get to both be a subject in and to watch the art come to life on our big screen, amidst Tuesday’s meditation, line-dancing, karaoke and our BBQ.
Once complete, we have digital art which can be shared anywhere, can be printed in high res at almost any size and we get a process video showing every paint stroke from blank canvas to completion.
We will be part of a joint Culture Days project with events at the MacLaren Art Centre showing an all ages, encompassing perspective of the people of Barrie. Funded by Culture Days Barrie.

When traditional and digital artist Linda Laforge isn’t creating heirloom portrait commissions, she’s painting and writing. She is a storyteller. Her original work melds portraiture with her love of Celtic knot design to tell the stories of her subjects, mainly climate activists and heroic figures offering visual commentary on this time we live in.
