With a theme of Creativity, The Arts and Well Being, Cultural Cafe & Concert is an evening of music, dance, culture and fun with a lot of heart thrown in. Starting with introductions and an Indigenous prayer (Sam Halkett) we will follow with music by Jam Street Music Sessions, bands for the parents and young people to enjoy and dance to during the first half.

The second half will be a concert performed by the O'Kraut Band, three fellows whose lively music will make everyone want to get up to dance and sing-along.

During intermissions we will feature various artists in keeping with the theme, Pamela Nelson (well being), Cathleen Lesperance (creativity) and a surprise artist who will be sure to touch your heart with his performance (the Arts).

The event is FREE! Bring the whole family for lots of entertainment, culture and fun!

The Prince Albert Arts Centre

My name is Fran Karakochuk and I am the Recreation Programmer for the Prince Albert Arts Centre, operated under the City of Prince Albert. Our facility was built in 1892-3 as an Opera House. It is a beautiful old building, now a heritage site, well known for its arts programming, the John V. Hicks Gallery and our Pottery Studio, among other things. We offer around 180 arts and culture programs annually for people of all ages. We bring in schools and groups for art or pottery classes, rent our rooms for various events and have a dozen different groups and guilds that make their home here. The Arts Centre is a "must see" when you are in Prince Albert and we invite you to come visit any time.
