First Friday’s in the Exchange, is an independent, non-profit, membership-based organization with a vision to encourage everyone in Winnipeg to come explore the arts and culture of the Exchange District on the first Friday of the month – an experience like no other in Winnipeg!
We believe that art can be enjoyed in many forms; visual arts (paintings, sculptures and performance), fashion (clothing and decoration), culinary (fine or casual dining, even take out), and also inspired beverages (small batch roasted coffees, amazing mixology and skillfully crafted beer).
Whether it is pleasing to the eye or the palate, our goal is to encourage people to explore the many gallery and studio openings, artist talks, food & drink opportunities, unique shops and pop up events in the Exchange District on the first Friday of every month.
