Inspired by all things that glow and the Fresh Prince, we present ALLEZ HOP, a pop-up, glow-in-the-dark basketball court. Think beautiful neon pink and the blue joy of the early 90’s, think uncannily old tunes and the swoosh of a net. As part of Illuminate the Night, we create a space for all to shoot hoops, play 3-on-3, spectate, chat, dance, and celebrate.

Sasha Amaya and Thea Pedersen bring together their backgrounds in landscape architecture, building, interdisciplinary art, dance, and installation to create a pop-up sport court that investigates the intersection of movement and design. Special guests from the Manitoba Wheelchair Sports Association and members from the public join us on the court! Come find us 6 pm - midnight! All welcome.
