À propos
Learn more about Filipino heritage and culture through the beloved folk story
The Mountain Goddess | Mariang Makiling.
"...Born of the rays of the moon, the mystery of the forest and the lullaby of the lake. Mariang Makiling would walk gracefully above the grasslands, so light and airy that not a single blade of grass would bend. Wherever she passed, life, order and calm was restored..."
The virtual exhibition will feature botanical wearables and live jewelry by designer Romina Urra-Gonzalez, captured by photographer Allan Florendo, and a collection of iconic Philippine flower paintings by Esmie Gayo McLaren and Charlie Frenal.
Audiences will also be treated to a virtual first person flying video through Mount Makiling Forest Reserve, Philippines by Leonardo Barua of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems.
