Directions: The Fire Hall Museum & Education Centre is in downtown Cambridge, Ontario – next to City of Cambridge Civic Square, just one block from the Cambridge Farmers’ Market and next door to the Cambridge Centre for the Arts. Nearby there is limited on-street parking but there are several municipal parking lots. Closest parking lots include: Beverly Street Lot at 15 Beverly Street (Wellington and Dickson Streets) and the Civic Square Lot at 9 Cambridge Street (behind City Hall).

The Fire Hall Museum & Education Centre informs, educates and entertains visitors of all ages. Featuring an original restored antique fire truck, historical photographs, firefighting equipment, uniforms and more - we're the perfect place for families to visit - with bells to ring and sirens to try.

You can suit up in coats, boots and helmets like a real firefighter. Take a fun selfie. Go on a scavenger hunt in the museum.

Admission to the Museum is FREE; donations are gratefully accepted!

Designed and built by architect Frederick Mellish as a fire hall in 1898 for the Town of Galt, the Fire Hall Museum & Education Centre is a not-for-profit organization run by a community-based board of volunteers.
