The National Ballet of Canada invites you to celebrate Culture Days on Friday, September 19 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at The Walter Carsen Centre. Watch National Ballet artists as in rehearsal and then take a free beginner ballet class in our spacious and bright studios.
Following the one-hour rehearsal, learn the art of ballet, simple ballet positions and movements at the barre and centre in a one hour and 15-minute class followed by a short Q & A with National Ballet artists.
Schedule:
5:00 – 6:00 pm Watch Rehearsal
6:15 – 7:30 pm Absolute Beginner Ballet Class (No dance experience necessary!)
7:30 – 8:00 pm Q and A with National Ballet artists
Come as you are, no previous dance experience required. This event is for participants ages 10 and up.

The National Ballet of Canada
